W16-06106A Explore three important works that use music to convey narratives with incredible clarity and passion. Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Rimsky Korsakov’s Scheherazade tell stories through music and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony brings together text and music to convey peace and hope. Through rehearsals, discussions and performances, participants will not only develop a deep understanding of storytelling, but also participate in full performances of these works.
